I am a thirty-something mum to a gorgeous Miss E and a cheeky little Master C. I reflect daily at the wonders of life. How quickly this time has passed and how grown up Miss E has become. Master C is growing by the nanosecond and soon both of them will be off to college! I don’t profess to be an expert in parenting and in fact I am probably the least pink and fluffy parent on this planet.
I bake occasionally and probably drink too much coffee – and wine for that matter! I like to cook and despite being into fitness, I do love food! I enjoy life and like what I like. I’m not afraid to speak my mind.

Life and parenting don’t come with handbooks. We muddle our way through hoping that we’re doing the right thing. The same goes for marriage. My husband is Nick and I’m pretty sure he thinks I’m crazy half the time, but he loves me for me – Flaws and all.

We’re making our way through this journey together, making memories along the way.

If you’d like to read more about my children, read this, or if you like to read more about my husband, read this.

I hope you enjoy what you read. Please do take a moment to find me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Pinterest. You can also drop me an email.

  1. I just want to say how much I enjoyed reading your brand spanking new blog! I admire you for taking the time out of your busy day with a home to run, two young children, the role of a wife, classes to run and yet still find the time to blog! However, I’m sure it must feel very therapeutic to put your thoughts down and get it out there. I’m a great believer in not holding onto emotions, it’s not good for the mind, body and soul. From one Surrey girl to another……may your blog travel afar and be enjoyed by many! xxx
